With GB's women competing for the bronze medal and GB's men going for the title, we knew we were in for a brilliant day's sport.
Having narrowly missed out to Germany the day before (by just one point), GB's women were clearly determined to take the remaining medal. As such, they absolutely dominated their match against France. Goals rolled in for Helen Freeman and Jordanna Bartlett and their defence held tight. They played fierce, were electric to watch, and were absolutely deserving of the bronze medal, ultimately winning the match 69 - 39.
Great Britain's men then took to the court to face Turkey for the title of European Champions.
It quickly became clear that neither side was going to back down easily. In the event, however, the GB men's defence proved too strong, the team winning back play time and time again, which culminated in an 87 - 66 victory.
The Most Valuable Player Award went to Terry Bywater, who scored 29 of the GB goals.
To top off a fantastic day for British sport, it was announced that both of GB's teams have now qualified for Rio.
