Brief Description: We are a national body that enables individuals to particiapate in and / or run a wheelchair dance group or club in their local areas. Contact us If you want to try a new sport that is fun and lets you meet a range of new people. You can train to compete at a regional, national and international level, or just meet regularly and keep fit while doing the Waltz, Tango or may other dances. Brief Description: EXTEND provides gentle exercise to music for older people and for anyone of any age with a disability. Our mission is to promote health, increase mobility and independence, improve strength, co-ordination and balance and to counteract loneliness and isolation. EXTEND has over 800 teachers across the country. Exercise can be provided in a variety of settings: e.g. via a group social rather than in a gym or fitness centre.
